The rooms looked very nice, the bathtub is old. Everything worked good.We had a very nice view of the strip and down town. The front desk was very friendly,
she ask us where we would like to stay -higher or lower floor, and view facing the strip or lake mead side. Never got asked that before anywhere else. found the casino alot bigger than we thought it would be. good selection of fast foods and restaurants.

Boulder Station was a great hotel casino when it opened. My wife and I had stayed in the hotel several times. The security officers looked professional when they were armed and wore the tan and green uniforms. They looked like a California Sheriff's Department.

In July we went into the casino and noticed the machines were dirty and were tight. Now the security wears a blue uniform and are unarmed. The guards I saw looked like they couldn's care less and very unprofessional. We will visit other station casinos.

I visited the Boulder Station, it is truely not one of the better casino resort. I wounder what happen to the LAS VEGAS standards of STYLE and Hospitality? Staff is very non concerning, and the key point of many casino resorts "the food" is very concerning. Nevertheless, I dont not discurage visiting this casino because there are many DIE HARD Boulder Station fans still around, but for the most part if your going to visit this place REMEMBER: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I gave them the death mark this time, because I was out at Boulder Station on New Years Eve. It was busy as you can imagine. They did not increase staffing, thus hard to get at a table, not enough cocktail waitress's and the smoke was unbelievable. I left with a upper resp. infection. They were not as friendy as last time, may be a one time deal because of New Years

Went to gamble 6/24.. Craps. Could not get into a table mid-afternoon and they didn't open another. Too bad because the rest of the place seemed good.

I stayed at the Boulder Station Saturday May 28, 2005, Memorial Day weekend. It was the only decent hotel in Vegas under hundred bucks that weekend. Its not a bad drive from the Airport about 15 minutes if you have a rental car. We checked in late and stayed there only one day but enjoyed it. We had a great room. It was as nice as you would get at a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. The service is friendly but I didn't think the buffet was a good as some of the other Station Casinos. They have all the new slot machines as any other casinos and they have low minimums. Its good place but don't expect the Venetian or you will be disappointed.

We've stayed at the Boulder quite a few times and I must say the only reason I stayed was because of the craps table with its low minimum of $2. It used to be my favorite casino but all that has changed with my last two visits in January 2005 and in September 2004. The casino doesn't like winners at their craps tables. They employ countermeasures such as always changing the dice to new ones--with the sharp corners, keeping annoying pit bosses in the morning shifts who yack, yack, yack about nothing so that the shooters can't concentrate and tolerating annoying dealers who do nothing but bitch and moan about whatever's ailing them at the present moment. I have moved my playing downtown to the Fremont, the Plaza (sometimes), Laughlin, Sam's Town to name a few because the casinos should give some not just take everything from the customers. Be warned craps players. P.S. I started to go to El Dorado in downtown Henderson and the Joker's Wild to find better crews that keep a good dice game going.

Love BolderStation and we will stay at the hotel if we get a good deal
The buffet is great and the gambling is reasonable priced compared to
most. We will come back and be treated Royal as the dealers treat us.

Very Nice.

I used to get a corned beef sandwich and a beer in Foxy's (only you old timers remember, I was only 17) for $2.50, but the Strip has just gone to hell. Wait in line and pay your money and hope the tourist next to you knows not to hit a 21 since 22 might be better. But at least the 20ish crowd can look...20ish, and that is always nice. Oh yes, you can see some tired old show and tell someone you were comped the tickets that anyone else got for free. You are Mr. Vegas.

Boulder Station made remember why we used to get off work at midnight and drive up for 18 hours; good gambling, a little hooch, and enough of the hoochie coochie. No fish tanks. No lions. No need to try and hook your recent wealth from home resale. Just quiet, friendly, good gambling. Aside from the humorous exploits of a chisler, (classic tattoo'd, No Fear, I can really play good) the house was good - old and young.

Enjoy it if you go as it probably won't last too much longer.

I have been playing poker at Boulder Station for years. I was very surprised on the evening of May 4th around 7 P.M when I was told I could not sit at the none smoking table. When I arrived at the poker room there were no seats available in none smoking so I took smoking with the understanding I could move to none smoking when someone left the table. When someone did leave I was told I could not move to none smoking because they needed to keep three people at the smoking table. I explained I have a lung problem and needed the none smoking table. Once again I was told no. So I cashed my chips in and left.
I thought this should be brought to the Boulder station management so it would not happen again. I have always enjoyed the food and service at Boulder Station and I'm sure they do not want a poker player treated in this manor. Thank You!!

My wife and I stayed 6 nights. We thought the room was clean and comfortable and fairly standard. We had a firm king size bed. We had a great view of the strip/downtown/mountains. The room had the standard amenaties and was of average hotel size. The only problem we had was one night, we noticed the bathroom was cleaned, but there were no towels left for us. We called the front desk and in less than 5 minutes (we were on the 14th floor), someone was at our door with towels. I liked the casino because it had plenty of different slot machines (1 cent and up) and a $2/10x craps table. Their buffet was OK, but nothing to get excited about. We rented a car, so staying far off the strip is not a problem for us. We would rather stay and play at the "local" type of casinos because of lower playing minimums and better values for the rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at Boulder Station in March '03. The staff was very friendly and let us check in early when we had an early arriving flight. We had breakfast at the buffet daily and this was plentiful and a good value. These were the only meals we ate at the hotel. The rooms were clean and of average size. Furnishings were better than at most hotels in its price range. The hotel is a very good value. However, you must have a rental car to get around easily. The drive to The Strip is an easy one. The casino is large and well appointed. We spent quite a bit of time here. Next time we're in Las Vegas we will stay on The Strip, just for a change. For value, friendly service and a good casino, off the strip, Boulder Station is a great place to stay.

For our second stay in March '04 we found things much the same at Boulder Station. This trip we were taking both of our mothers with us and we set them up in their own room. The hotel was very accomodating of their needs and both were surprised at the room and service they got for the price. Again, this hotel is a great value for good accomodations and a good casino off the strip. But you do NEED a rental car to stay here.

I did not stay here but visited to see the Thurs. night blues show at the railhead. If you like blues this is an awesome place, watched Coco Montoya play,NO COVER and reasonable drink prices. Played a little craps/VP great pay tables, 10x odds and cleaner place than I remembered from a year ago, check it out on Thursday night.
