The NY/NY is a really nice place. Its beautifully layed out and has a very nice atmosphere. The only thing i dont like is that i like video keno and at least as of the last time i was out there they only had a few machines, so i dont gamble there much. The rooms are very nice and a few times I got comped a players suite and those are marvelous! Its connected to MGM which is a bonus, since its so big and roomy and a nice palce to spend some time. MGM is also a monorail stop which keeps you from having to take a cab or the boot leather express to get North down the strip. Im going back in April, and am gonna stay here since they were kind enough to comp me 3 nights free. Great place with good restaurants as well.

As a native New Yorker, I always found NYNY to be fairly lucky. I remember when I first visited in 1998--at that time I was playing strictly blackjack and the various pits had overhangs that were adorned with trees as if you were in Central Park. They had a huge fascade that resembled the New York Stock Exchange but instead read "New York Slot Exchange." The limos were all yellow like NYC taxicabs. They had a cigar bar named after George Hamilton, which at that time was in vogue. I always loved the art deco theme of pre-WWII New York, and always felt lucky there.

In the ten years since my first visit, MGM Mirage has taken over ownership and in my opinion, ruined it. This is coming from a stockholder too. Gone are the many homages to NYC. This is a generic casino now and the one of the few ways to tell you are in a NY-themed casino is by the Statue of liberty outside and the fact that they haven't re-named any of the Towers--yet. Hamilton's is long gone, replaced by Coyote Ugly Saloon. MGM Mirage has taken all the charm out of a place I used to feel at home.

My room was spacious with an awesome view of the South Strip but they are in need of an update. The televisions are antiquated, small and blurry compared to the crispness of HDTV, especially since the TV was about 10 feet from the foot of my bed. Did you know that the main performance show is "Zumanity"? Of course you do, it's advertised EVERYWHERE, including your bathroom. There's no getting away from the constant advertisements of this show, which I have never seen and likely never will. I loved "Mystere" and "O" but this show is not my cup of tea. Beware that room service already charges you an 18% gratuity (apparently this place is looking more like Europe than NYC).
The VP macines were tight to me. The older gentleman at the Players Desk was surly, especially when holding out my hand to receive my card and he placed it on the desk (little gestures say a lot).

Essentially, MGM Mirage has ruined NYNY just as they did to Treasure Island--oh sorry, TI.

Addendum: I stayed at NYNY recently only because I was comped a room. I know I may hypocritical--but it was free. It's kind of like when you vote for a candidate (i.e. McCain) and hold your nose at the same time. The only thing I have to add to the above is that the recession is affecting this place: the video poker machines were tight and so was the bartender. I couldn't get a martini at the bar even though I'm playing dollar vp. The ironic thing is if I was playing on the casino floor I'd be more likely to get one there. To add to the irony, smaller local places will comp you a martini at the vp bar but not at NYNY, which is owned by the behemoth company MGM Mirage. This is not the way to endear customers, Mr. Kirkorian.

First stay at New York New York, we arrived on a Saturday @ 11am, I have been to Vegas at least 8 times and this was the first time we had to wait until late afternoon to get into our rooms. Paid extra for a view room so we were in the Chrysler Tower, overlooking the rollercoaster & a view of the MGM. We had a Park Avenue room and it was the smallest room I have ever been in Las Vegas, but the elevators were fairly fast. Though the hotel has a good location it is a nice walk to get to the monorail. The checkin staff were friendly, but the slots were so tight, I might as well have thrown money on the floor. It also seems that there are alot of people with their children constantly in the casino, which makes for an unpleasant time. Plus, they were still working on the ROC nightclub, which is in the middle of the casino, and that was a real mess. On the bright side Nine Fine Irishmen was excellent, as usual and we ate one night at the Gonzalez Y Gonzalez, and the food was excellent. This was the first and last time we will stay at New York New York, it was not what we expected.

I travel alot to VEGAS. NYNY was once a favorite, until now. The casino had few machines, rarely paid off and the place was under construction (JACK HAMMERS ETC). We complained but the staff seemed uncaring and bothered. I even complained via e-mail and received a standard form letter apology. I will stay elsewhere in the future because my play means nothing at NYNY.

Stayed 4 days and really enjoyed the stay, staff was super, room was nice, and even got one night comped. (a first for me)
If there are any old timers out there who long for the old vegas, trip down to slots of fun, its still coin in coin out slots and you can carry those buckets of coins up and have them counted. Area is a bit run down but if you miss old vegas its worth the trip.

UPDATE!

I received a call from the Executive Director of NYNY and she offered me my offer for my upcoming stay in September 08. It was very gracious of her to call me personally to show she cares and I will return to one of my favorite casinos in the Fall! I can't wait to return to NYNY and feel the energy and excitement as you enter the casino area. Also, she told me they are doing some renovations to the casino that should be done when I return. Thanks again for the Executive Director of New York - New York for caring about your customers and it shows alot to me and I'm happy to be returning to NYNY.

I made a reservation at New York, New York on February 11 for a promotion I received through the MGM Mirage Players Club. The promotion was 2 nights complimentary during the week and Friday and Saturday at 99.00 each. I decided to make a reservation for April 23-27, 2008 and received this promotion (Wednesday- Thursday= Complimentary, Friday –Saturday= 99.00/night).

Why did I receive this promotion? I’ve been a loyal MGM Mirage customer since 1996 and come to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year and I also frequent Beau Rivage. I like MGM properties and feel it is a good value. I may not be a high stakes gamer, but I’m a loyal one!!

Why am I writing this letter? I wanted to change my reservation at NYNY I previously made to April 25-30. There was availability for the additional days; however, my rates for Friday and Saturday were quoted at a much higher rate even though I had booked under the promotion. I was told I could not have the promotional rate anymore if I changed my reservation because the hotel is busy that week now and someone is in town. I was like what? You still have my reservation anyway for Friday and Saturday….What does this tell me? That MGM does not care about loyal patrons to their properties and cares about PROFIT ONLY because MGM MIRAGE reported recor d fourth quarter results! Needless to say I told them to cancel the existing reservation and I will not return to another MGM property in the future. This was a slap in the face to me for being a loyal customer for the past 12 years!!

So what did I do? I logged on to Harrahs Total Rewards because I stay at Caesars Indiana when I visit family there since there are no MGM properties in this area. Since I had play at Caesars Indiana I was offered RIO on Friday April 25th at 50.00, April 26th at 70.00, and Paris Las Vegas April 27th at 60,00, April 28th at Comp, and April 29th at Comp. I could have stayed Comp at Flamingo, Ballys, Harrahs etc…and comparable double rates at Caesars if I wanted to stay there.

What do you know about location? There are Harrahs properties everywhere….

I will stay at Harrahs properties in Biloxi and not Beau Rivage. I will stay at Harrahs in Tunia in August 2008 and not Gold Strike. I will stay at a Harrahs property in Atlantic City and not MGM when it opens! Best of all, I will stay at Harrahs properties in Las Vegas when I visit 2-3 times a year. Why all this?

BECAUSE HARRAHS CARES ABOUT LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND NOT PROFIT AS DEMONSTRATED RECENTLY BY MGM MIRAGE!! I will be sure to tell my fellow gamers about this experience!

GOOD BYE MGM MIRAGE AND HELLO HARRAHS Brands !!

We stayed at New York-New York from 1/19/08 to 1/25/08. We come to Las Vegas twice a year and generally stay at MGM due to the offers. But this time they were booked, so we settled on NY-NY. The overall place is OK, but the rooms are extremely small. We stayed in the Empire State Building. There was virtually no closet space. The armoire has two sides to hang clothes in, but one side had a shelf that made even hanging jeans a mess. The windows in the room were a joke. We had two of them, but that made no difference. They were about 15 inches wide by 32 inches tall and only leaving more space of blank wall beside them. This room made us feel very claustrophobic. When you stay as long as we do each visit you like to at least be comfortable in your room. The bathroom was an absolute joke. One person could barely turn around in it. The door missed hitting the toilet by about an inch when swinging shut. It would take us twice as long to get ready in the mornings because only one person could be in there at a time. As far as the casino goes, it is definitely not the best. They are lacking in some of the newer slot machines. We are by no means high rollers and will play slots from $1 down to pennies. Their selection of penny machines is very lacking. They have not really added anything new in the last several years. The next time NY-NY has the best offer for us we will have to pass and take the next best.

Check in 8/21/07-check out 8 23/07 My second stay and review on this hotel. My review from 4/10/06 below pretty much covers things.......But
Having stayed at the Mirage a few times and Treasure Island, since my last stay here I have a better opinion of this hotel.
This trip I noticed there were less children, which was good, Vegas is not for kids.
I liked the black jack area. The number of tables open and how the cards are dealt, is as good as what’s offered at the Mirage, and much better than TI. As for video poker, there are some machines with better pay scales. If you look hard you can find a few older jacks or better, triple play machines with better pay scales than Mirage or TI. If your not a high roller but can put your time in gambling the comps are as good as Mirage and TI,
The gambling table areas just seems more laid back and relaxed.
I’ll keep an open mind about staying at NY. NY. in the future.

Trip 4/10/06 - 4/14/06
To start I have been going to Vegas for 32 years, over 100 trips and this was the 17th strip hotel.
Having been to Vegas so many times I don’t care about a room size, views or up grades for the $20 trick. We book the low end standard deluxe room, take pot luck and often get a bigger room with great views for no additional charge. Average time spent in room 6 hours
This trip was different. I took the view point of a once a year tourist wanting a nice vacation staying at a hotel for the first time. We elected to take the promotion Manhattan nights offered on the internet, which included a room upgrade, a couple 2 for 1 meals, a couple of free spa passes 2 free drinks and 2 free rides on the roller coaster ($12.50 a ride) The additional cost was $20 total over the standard deluxe room booking.
Cab : 3 people, airport, North on Swanson, West on Tropicana Ave to the hotel $15. fare & tip. Tell the driver or you may find your self going around the airport.
Check in arrived 11:00 AM, room ready. We were lucky and our room was located in a bank of elevators close to the check in desk just off the casino floor. Depending on the tower you are in you can have a fairly long walk with suit cases
Hotel Condition: Rooms, Elevators and Hall Ways were clean. Over all, hotel was Clean.
Room : To me the room was a standard size deluxe room you find in any hotel. It was nicely decorated, modern wall paper, nice bath. Very small window with a view looking West. My wife thought the room was a little bigger, pretty, with a pretty bath room. As a once a year MR. tourist that took the promotional package with upgrades, I would have expected bigger and a view of the strip, MRS. was happy. Hair dryer, iron, all the usual stuff in the room.
The Spa : Work out and exercise area, hot tub, steam, showers, For me, it’s fine. If you hang out in a spa and need top of the line everything this won’t do for you. I’ll give it an average, Kind of like an after thought. Oh, we need a spa area.
The Pool : At this time of year due to pool position in relation to hotel the sun does not get to the pool until about noon. To my wife and my over 21 daughter, ( along to keep the wife company ) a Pool is the most important thing. They live at the pool from 9AM to 5 PM . They want a slightly shady spot under a few palm trees. A nice snack shop for lunch, and drinks. This was a cement slab, no foliage, and the snack shop didn’t cut it. Frozen drinks $7.50. It’s on the small side. Kind of like an after thought. Oh, we need a Pool.,,,
The Food : NO BUFFET no loss. There is a number of different places to eat. The prices, Back home $10.00, Here $11.50, many other hotels $13.00, got the idea. Just want to grab a fast coffee and bagel for breakfast, carry out and sit in a hall way at a table to people watch, you can do it. You also have a number of choices for a sit down breakfast.,,,, Lunches and dinners you can do the same.
Family friendly : YES, For my taste too many little kids. Lets take our kids to a place catering to smokers drinkers and gamblers, with ½ dressed woman, and cleavage every place. Call me a stuffed shirt when it comes to setting an example for the young kids..
The Casino : Decor is NY. This attracts a lot of people walking from hotel to hotel roaming around looking, the walk ways are packed. The floor can be a bit confusing until you figure it out.
Slots : Good Varity all denominations, no sticky buttons. All ticket machines. Slot card was always accepted.
Black Jack : Shortage of $5.00 tables later in the day forcing many of the once a year vacation players that doesn’t know what basic black jack strategy is, to play at a higher level ($10.00).
VIDEO POKER : BIG PROBLEM, the first thing you look for is the game you want to play, then the pay scale. ( if you don’t know what a pay scale is on VP,, I can’t help you ) Example : Jacks or better, best pay scale I found was 9/5 on a $5.00 machine. Nickels to dollars best pay was 8/5. Jacks or better machines sitting side by side I saw pay scales of 8/5, 7/5 and 6/4.
Other table games : I didn’t pay attention to the other table games.
Lounge: Later in the evening the band rocked, was loud enough to be heard through the entire first floor. Want quiet gaming, no chance late night.
Staff : I found all the staff to be friendly, dealers, front desk, baggage, cocktail servers, house keeping, but I have never have a problem with rude staff. If your not a Demanding Rude, Jerk,, most people will be pleasant to you. If you are, you deserve what you get in return.
Over all : I would consider it a middle of the road property not a dump and not a high end hotel. In line with Luxor, T I or the Flamingo type hotels. For the average me, wanting a nice clean hotel without going broke on the cost of a room or food, this hotel is fine.
Slot club, Mirage Card every $1.50 in is a point, VP every $3.00 in is a point..
Comps : One good thing, at black jack. You can be a rated player at the $5.00 tables
Would I go back ? No, Just too many moms and dads dragging a tired ½ sleeping 4 yr old kid around by the hand at mid-night. Yes, On day 2, I asked at the players club desk if I had any comps coming. The plays club desk checked my card and introduced me to a host, same as other hotels. Yes for the comp rating you can earn at low steaks BJ if you put the time in at the table.

Visited 6/27/07-6/30/07 had a great time with my sons. NY-NY is a good sized casino/hotel not to big not to small. The casino is easy to navigate and the city streets give those family members that don't gamble something to do while waiting on the gambler. I will be back at NY-NY in September.

The room was very small, very little closet space. What bothered me the most was while I was spending hundreds of dollars (and I am female) the waitresses in the casino area would ignore me and dote on the men, even though I gave them a better tip. That made me want to go to another hotel and casino. Also, the ESPN zone shop should have been opened even though they had a private party in the facility for God knows who. I wanted to buy gifts and for two days it was off limiteds. Everyone needs a small refrig., this hotel does not offer one, we had to put our cokes on ice in the trash can.

I checked in on 10/20/06 around 9:30 PM. The gentleman at the front desk was very unfriendly. He said “We’re going to put you in a King Size smoking room. Indicated No, I requested a non-smoking room. He didn’t say a work but just kept typing away at the keyboard. He then said again that I was in a smoking room and I could call down to the front desk once I got up to my room. I said why do I have to call down when I’m at the front desk now. He then proceeded to give me a map and told me how to get to my room. When I got to my room I was on the 3rd Floor. The smoke smell was not too bad but the view was horrible. I called down to the front desk and spoke to a nice lady and told her I was not happy about the room situation. She promised me a different room the next day. Around 2:30 the next afternoon I went up to the front desk and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Joshua. Joshua put me on the 38th floor in a non smoking room. All in all it was a good stay. I love the ambience of NYNY and I will stay there again.

Really enjoyed the NYNY. Service was good, room was very clean with a great view of Tropicana, Hooters, Excalibur, and MGM. (Room 2012 in the Empire Tower) This hotel is nice because it is not too big like the MGM or too small, it is just right.

We recently stayed at the NYNY for the second time. We tried other hotels but we have found that NYNY is the best value around. Joined their club and we had all our meals comped. The dealers are very friendly and the slots were very generous to my wife. This was second time we ate at Il Fornaio and unfortunately, both times have been bad. Don't sit outsde, the noise from the Times Square Bar is past annoying.

A group of 8 of us stayed at this hotel. It was so much damn fun! By far the coolest hotel that we visited on our trip. When you enter it smells like apples. The ESPN bar was very cool and had great food. The coyote ugly bar is not that great. We had very good service and all the staff seemed to be very nice at the hotel. If you like lounging by the pool (which I highly recommend) drink their pina coladas, they are great! This hotel just has such a fun atmosphere for everyone. Our group ranged in age from 24-37 and we all had the same experience. Cool Harley shop! I bought a Harley swimsuit for my 1 1/2 yo daughter. We were in the New York New York tower & our rooms were very big & nice. They messed up & gave us smoking rooms but they were very nice and you could barely smell the smoke. We rode the roller coaster & it was awsome! I recomend that you ride it your last day there, my shoulders were kind of sore. Anyways, I cant say enough good things about this place. Go here!

We stayed here as part of a block of rooms for my husband's convention. It was fun and the room was nice and large enough. My only wish was that the bed linens be a bit higher thread count. Usually in hotels I love the sheets. These were okay. My husband wished the water pressure in the shower would have been more. It was rather low.

We just got back from 3 wonderful days at NY NY - I will definately stay here again. The check in was quick and we chose to take the upgrade (anniversary trip)and it was well worth the money and the clerk remembered checking us in in and asked about our stay - very nice touch! We didn't try many of the restaraunts, only ate at the American - OK food, OK service. The other smaller shops were great to pick up something quick. The best part of our stay was the casino - we loved the craps dealers - very personable and fun. We ended up winning enough to pay for our trip - upgrade included!

My husband and I have been coming to Vegas for years and I have been coming since i was a child. Our first casino experience was at the Tropicana. you can read about that on the Trop's comment page. I wont get into it but oh it was awful. Now we have beed with mgm properties for 2 years, specifically w/ NYNY casino. The rooms are great and we always get the upgrade to the park avenue room. The walk from the rooms to the casino and the strip is very short. Probably the best laid out plan i've seen. The comps are good but your dealing with big buisness so they are not great. The resturants are very good but be careful of America. If it is busy, svc. is not good. Check-in is always good and we normally get our room early. Check-in is not until 3pm but we got our room at 10:30am. The pool is the only poor area. When it is 100 degrees outside I can think of nothing better than a day @ the pool. Unfortunatly you have to get there when it opens in the morning and stay there all day to have a chair. otherwise, a great casino, great hotel and i can't wait to go back!(which by the way will be in 4 weeks!)

Ten Reasons to Stay at NYNY:

1: Rooms- The rooms are typically larger than that of the other hotels.
2: Service- The staff maintains the room clean and they check you in quickly.
3: Decorum- The hotel has a nice theme and it is not at all cheesy, I think it is better than the actual NYC.
4: Chin-Chin's: Cheap breakfast buffet and good dim-sum at night.
5: Zumanity: I would place this as the second best cirque du soleil show behind O, and it is the cheapest one and intimate setting.
6: Manhatten Express: Tons of fun for the child in you.
7: Arcade: You can live the kids with grandma in the arcade and you will not have to worry about them getting mugged like in Circus Circus.
8: Casino: Slots there are pretty good and they have a variety of different tables, very big and there is something for everyone to do.
9: Valet: Very quick with getting the card and very polite.
10: Nathan's hotdogs: A quick bite before A show or a midnight snack that is reasonable.

*The only downfall is that they are the only MGM themed hotel without a buffet, but why would you need a $30 buffet when you can have meals that fill you up for $10.

We stayed at New York-New York the first week of January 2006. This was our third time staying at New York-New York( in a row). In the past we've stayed at the MGM, Ballys, and Excailbur.

Check In... We arrived early, around 10:45 in the morning and was able to check in. The check in was fast " Jussemara" did a great job. We only waited a few mintues before we were checked in. She was courteous and friendly ( wish more people were like her).

Room... The room was clean and had a decent view of the South Strip, good location. We did have to go and ask for soap and shampoo (None in the room)when we first arrived, but no big deal.

Restaurants.. The restaurants were mixed in service and quality. I best was IL Fornaio, it was outstanding, Maria F, was our sever and she did a great job.The food was excellant!!! On the other end of the scale was the Bamboo Express, which was slow and the food was only fair. The coffee shop near the Bamboo express has good coffee, even at 4:30 in the afternoon. The other restaurants at the New York-New York were OK, but not as outstanding as the
IL Fornaio.

Slots-BJ.. The slots have changed from my last visit. You now see a lot of more five cent slots and less twenty-five slots, gone are most of the one's which had bonus play. ( Still found some at MGM & Bellagio) The Slots were "NOT" loose, they were tight. The BJ was fair. We walked to the Bellagio and to the MGM, better slot play, came out ahead at both.

Comps.. The comps at New york-New York are not as good as in the past. We liked the location, but the play was better at other casino's. Not sure if we will stay here again or go back to MGM.

VERY pleased with my stay at NY NY. BY FAR, the BEST in it's price range. Great location. Highlights include: Efficent and timely check in. The rooms (while average in size) were very clean. The Bar At Times Square was a lot of fun. The bartenders at the ESPN Zone were attentive and friendly, and the food was very good. The only negative mark (I give) is for the slow service at the America restaurant. If you are "on the go," (like us) stroll the village eateries. Good food, prices, and quick service. The bottom line is, I will go "out of my way" to stay at NY NY again!

Arrived Sunday morning at 9am, last day of National Finals Rodeo. Was able to check in and get my room key in 5 minutes....thats right!!! After figuring out the location of the elevators (really pretty simple) never had to wait to get one all week. Could hear some noise from the elevators, but very rare. rooms were very nice and the beds were OUTSTANDING!!!! Used the health spa daily and was very pleased. It is kind of small, but the extra amenties were very nice (individual tv's on the workstations, unlimited fruits and juice etc..) very reasonalbe also. I have been to Vegas about 14 times in 6 years and like to try a different place each time, but would stay here again. Great location also and getting in and out of the parking garage was no problem.

We stayed at the New York for one week in November 2005. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the strip in the "Century" tower on the 36th floor and I must say the view was AMAZING. This view was better than that of the Statosphere! There was NO noise from the coaster (which I was worried about after reading some reviews here). Besides...the coaster only runs from 11am to 11pm, so why would anyone really be that concerned even if there was any noise? We upgraded one level from the standard room and were very pleased at the spacious room we received for only $20 more. The bathroom was great with 2 seperate adjoining rooms (with a door) - on one side the sinks, dryer etc and behind the door the toilet and bath/shower. This is very convenient if you are with friends or enjoy your privacy. The shampoo and soap was also not the cheap crap but so pleasant that we brought the leftovers home with us. The hotel staff were the friendliest I have ever experienced and I just loved the stay. I was really interested with all of the people that commented on this site about the comfortable beds, as I thought this was unusual - but now I know why. Those were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and when you are not sleeping as long as usual, that is important! I even tried to find the name brand of the bed for my next bed purchase! I just cant say enough good things about this place. Clean, quiet, fun, not too big, not too small, welcoming and the staff also have a sense of humor. This is the only hotel without a buffet breakfast going on, but "Il Fornaio" serves a nice breakfast at a decent price. You also avoid the bloat from overeating at the buffet hahaha. Of course the Monorail is just a short walk to the MGM and this hotel location was great. Right across the street is one of the 1/2 price show ticket places that opens at 11:30 am each day where you can get 1/2 price tickets for a show that night. They dont have tickets to the big show like Cirque, but they have an impressive selection otherwise and we cashed in on this deal. If you have a chance, dont miss the Blue Man Group at the Venetian and Anthony Cools (uncensored hypnotist) at the Paris....really enjoyable shows!
I would definately stay here again next time in Vegas!!!!

When we stayed at NYNY, we were a little skeptical, because of some of the comments we read here. And some were just people complaining about little things cause they need to complain, and others were right on the money. Here is our story, what we liked and what we didn't. Also before you read too much farther you should know that my wife and I can have fun anywhere, and don't get stressed about small things.

Firstly, when we drove up we commented on how aesthetically, it was very pleasing and interesting. The bellman promptly took our bags, and said they would hold them for us until 11:00 when we could check in. Once we got our rooms, then we just call the number and they would bring our bags up to us. Great it was almost 11, so we went in and waited in line. Once in line we were told that the check in on Sunday's started at 1:00. So someone lied to us.. but oh well we made the best of it. We went to go eat, and get our players club cards, did a little bit of gambling, and we were off. We got our rooms around 2(they wern't ready yet, but that ws our fault since we requested a room near another couple), and then went on with our day. The bell desk brought our bags up pretty quickly, but they were busy, so the 10 minute wait was nothing. Our room was nice, it had the standard stuff in it. A safe in the wall, nice sized bathroom, and it was very clean. The only thing I would reccomend would be to get a room ABOVE the 12 floor. we were on the 10th floor, and our view was slightly obscured by a wall. And below us all you could see was wall. I will say that we were in the room the odd time while the roller coaster was running, and we BARELY noticed it. And we tried to hear it since all the other reviews on here said it was unbareable. Now i'm 30 in good health, and I could barely hear it, it would take Superman to be bothered by it. And all our party who were there said the same thing they didn't notice it at all.

The service from everyone was standard. The dealers were nice, the waitresses came around if you tipped them(even in the penny slots), and the casino was easy to find your way around in. There were somethings we didn't like however, but they were minor. We noticed that the Casino was ALWAYS busy. And I mean always. And due to the amount of people and the activities going on(I think a couple bars were open 24hrs), It was one fo the noisier casinos there. Was it unbearable, no, just noisier than average. You could still carry on a conversation with the person next to you very easily, and not strain to hear them, and there were always table spots open, and slot machines available.

The food was decent there, but the lack of a buffet didn't sit well with us. The ESPN zone is very reasonable for the portion sizes they serve, but it is also very loud. If there is any sort of sporting event going on steer clear. IL Fornaio was excellent. The service was good and the food was even better. Well worth the money. There was also a pizza place there, I can't recall the name, but their Sicilian Pizza was Excellent. and pretty cheap 4 of us shared a pizza for 16 bux, and had more than we could eat. The only other restaurant we ate at was Gonzalez Y Gonzalez. The food was decent. It was no better than any normal mexican restaurant in anyother city, but there are others better in Vegas.

The pool area was smaller than I thought it would be. But then I guess we were spoiled by our stay at the mirage. IT was however not as busy as the casino. The service outside was fast, but expensive just like everyother pool in vegas, and the women waitresses were attractive.

All in all it is a nice hotel, and you could have some fun there, the roller coaster is alot of fun. I would stay there again, but it is kind of busy. so it is not as relaxing to gamble there as some of the other casinos.

We stayed here for the first time 9/12 thru 9/15 for free comps. Upgraded to a suite at check-in which was speedy, efficient and pleasant. Check out was the same...everything done in under 15 minutes and very little wait time. Our suite was clean, view was awesome and we had everything that we could need. Staff was friendly and courteous throughout. Did not try any of the restaurants this time other than Starbucks and Hollywood burger. (When will you get a Dunkin Donuts in Las Vegas...Best Coffee). Slots were not as loose as some other casino's but we still played and had a fun time. We have stayed at other casino's on the strip but we found it very easy to go to other casino's from NYNY. The location was great. We will not hesitate to book here again. So Fun!!!

My 76 year old mother and I stayed here July 17th through July 22nd. Location is great with MGM, Excalibur and Tropicana just across the street and trams down to Mandalay Bay and Luxor. Monte Carlo is just next door within easy walking distance even with old tired feet! There were a few things that turned me off, starting with check in at about 12pm. I am aware that check in is 3pm for most hotels but I have always been able to get a room at noon time. Desk clerk tried 3 times to get me to upgrade my room for $15 a night and she "could get me in right away". After the third no, she became as cold as a North Pole snowman and reminded me that check in is 3pm and told me I would have to call the desk after 3 for a room number. She did give me key cards and a conformation number so I wouldn't have to return to the desk. Once I did get a room there were no towels, I had to call for some. The second day I got towels but no wash cloths. Also the whole time there was a burned out light bulb in the bathroom over the sink that the maid never reported. The maids check each room for cleaning starting at 8:30AM and it made me wonder since the maid knocked on the door that time more than once if There really wasn't an available room when we originaly cheked in. Did have a view of the strip, MGM and Trop but felt the desk clerk went out of her way to make things difficult for me because I refused her upgrade. Nine Fine Irishmen was great for lunch, a bit pricy but good. Stay away from America though. You could get a better meal at the McDonalds at the Excalibur for 1/4th the price and 5 times faster. This is a good theamed hotel, the stay was nice and the walk to the rooms much closer than other hotels that sit way back off the street but after 3 days the New York theam starts wearing thin. I have to say that John Jones, a security supervisor was just great with an incident my mom had with a scammer who attempted to steal some slot money from her (and did steal about $100 from another senior lady about 15 minutes later) and he really helped by showing concern and understanding. He did a great job and is a credit to New York New York! We did have a good time and I would recommend this hotel but have to say I prefer the Aladdin overall and have never had a bad stay there.

Overall a good experience. Casino slots were tight but no more than any of the other majors on the strip. Never had to wait for a opening at a table game which was wonderful. Good food, with great choices of eating quick (cheap) or fancy (expensive). We have been to Vegas 5 times and all places have good points and bad points about them and NYNY was no different. The rooms were not anything to be proud of. We had 9 people in 5 rooms on our trip and all were displeased with views and room size. 2 couples upgraded and still were not pleased. Hotel very clean and atmosphere is great. Coyote Ugly was an experience I am glad I saw but really for a younger crowd. Check in was smooth, and the employees were always friendly and helpful.

Room OK - requested higher floor after reading other posts - were in Chrysler Tower, 26th floor. Still heard noise from roller coaster! but view was good. rooms tended to be too dark - especially the bathroom. Had to adjust curtains to allow light into room (of thte approx 6 small windows, half were covered by the heavy drapes. Main objection to this hotel is the lack of a place to relax - i.e. pool - very small, minimal shade or landscaping - seemed like a large backyard pool. Definitely preferred the Luxor.

This was the first time for my wife and I to visit LV,so i wanted to pick a hotel that looked pretty cool.I really enjoyed the hotel and casino. We got to the airport at 8am and had to wait until 9am to ba able to check in at the airport, but that was ok because the upgraded our room at no extra cost.Adam that worked at the airport checkin was super nice and did everything he could to make us happy. The room was good size and very clean and nice.We stayed in the Empire tower on the 32nd floor with a view of the corner of the MGM,Luxor and Excaliber.Great view. The casino was a little overwelming at first, but we got used to it.We had a hard time trying to find the doors to get outside. We ate at 2 of the little eating places there, the pizza one and the one that was by the Ben and Jerry ice cream place that sold fried shrimp. Both those plces were great.Me and my wife both won on the slots on friday night but not much on saturday. All in all it was a great place to stay and would stay there again.I just couldnt figure out what the deal was with all the kids there. Why in the world would somebody bring a 6 month old or a 3 year old to Vegas?

We stayed 5 nights at NY/NY in early may and it was great. We opted to upgrade our room for an extra $15 a night and were given a great room on the 19th floor with a fantastic view of MGM from one window and Mandalay,Luxor and Excaliber from the other. Myra at the front desk was the sweetest person I came across on this trip and the rest of the staff was pretty nice too. You have to use your key card to work the elevator, which I read some people had problems with but it worked great for us and was a nice security feature as was the inroom safe. Our T.V. had bad reception but who goes to Vegas to watch T.V. anyway?
I didn't eat at the hotel much but what I did have from room service, nathans and starbucks was all good. The casino is pretty good, playing craps here was a good time but loosing a ton of money on blackjack, the crappy sports book and the lack of a poker room made the casino just ok. The roller coaster didn't bother me at all and stops by 11pm anyway. I had to pay $23 for the phone calls I made to the Riviera to some friends that were staying there, so make sure you ask about local calls when you check in if you plan on making any. Over all I thought NY/NY was a great place and plan to stay here again on my 3rd trip to vegas.

Had an awesome first stay at NY NY. Really treated me well. Had a great rate and, after play, ended up paying about $60 for 5 nights!! They threw perks (and I go to Vegas with about $1k). Hit a nice starting paying with .05 slots on Men In Black ($400). Employees were as friendly as possible. Would love to stay there again, but they are not offering anything better than Casino rate at about $180 per night this year so am heading off to Luxor to see what it's like. In past have stayed at MGM numerous times (love the place), Stratosphere (just ok), LV Club (Downtown - nice but not exciting) and Binions (was just fair at best). So far MGM & NY NY have been favorites. Weird part is NY NY said I could stay free on next visit (at end of last visit), but upon calling this year everyone thought I was nuts saying that (like they would never have said that, but most certainly did). Oh well! Lots of options in Vegas!

I have stayed at at least 10 hotels on the strip in the last three years (the Wynn and Bellagio included) and NYNY is by far my favorite. The other more upscale hotels obviously are gorgeous, but I didn't get the same comfortable and cared about feeling like I did in NYNY. The casino is great, Il Fornaio (sp?) is wonderful, the American cafe has great breakfast. The rooms are very nice and the shower pressure was great (always a must!) My best experience at Las Vegas has been staying at this hotel, I would certainly recommend it because it is the best you can get for the money.

Overall this was a very cute hotel and nice layout. I really appreciate hotel themes, and this one is nice. I thought the trees and stream running though the casino was cool. Food court area layout was neat cobblestone streets and neon signs. Our room was nice – our 2nd room that is. We arrived very late because our flight was very delayed. We were given one of the few rooms left and it was kind of far away from the casino. Front desk clerk was rude and didn’t seem to want to help us. The next morning I changed to a Park Avenue Room that was much nicer. It was centrally located and newly remodeled.

They had no buffet but the food choices were okay, except America. Bare floors and lots of room make for a noisy experience here. The 24 hr restaurant in most hotels is quiet and relaxing with good comfort food. This is not the case here. Service was very slow, food was greasy and the noise of the larger groups they sat us by was almost unbearable. Room service had a couple of reasonable breakfast deals. The slots were okay but I quickly grew bored with the selection. The casino is a little small and I couldn’t find a lot of the slots I like to play. Other than that and my experience at America this hotel was pretty good.

A friend at work was getting married in Vegas so myself and another friend bargain shopped and ended up splitting a room at the New York New York. They upgraded us to a nicer room which was nice but as we spent very little time there unnecessary. Had real problems with the room keys and the elevator security but they worked with us to fix the problem. I thought the Casino was very cramped and crowded. I gambled here very little. I dont think they have a poker room and if they do they do a great job of hiding it. The rooms were very clean and overall I would stay here again but only if is the best deal. Not because it was fantastic. (The comp system is great.)

I really don't know what some of the problems people have with this place are?
O.K. It can be hard to get around the place but just about every Hotel/Casino in Vegas is that way. The rooms are clean and comfortable, every hotel employee I encountered was nice, and the NY/NY does have a great location. Albiet I somewhat pricey hotel the NY/NY does have a lot to offer. When I did sleep during my 3 day trip from the 23rd-25th the beds were quite comfortable and satisfying for a few hours. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks per night want to stay in relative luxury.

********THIS IS IMPORTANT*****

Stay away from America Restuarant. Horrible Service and FOOD. I was there and it took over an hour for them to come up with a lame a** excuse for a club sandwich and milkshake. During that hour I SAW my waiter (1) once. Needless to say the meal was of course comped, but the food should have been given away in the first place. From the looks around me, other patrons didn't excatly seem to be enjoying their food either. Stay away from this overpriced, crappy diner food with little taste and absolutely no satisfaction. Coco's outside next door offers much cheaper food thats actually a little better.

Although we have been to LV many times, this was our first stay at NY NY. We have Players Cards so we were able to get a $64/night rate (Tue., Wed., Thurs nights). We were a little apprehensive because of some of the reviews we read, and just because we didn't know what to expect. We arrived at 10:00 a.m and checked in at the airport. We got room keys and a room assignment, but the room wasn't ready. We took a taxi to NY NY, dropped off our bags, and continued about until midnight. We requested a Park Avenue room, 2 queen beds, view of the strip, close to the elevators, and high enough not to be blocked by the roller coaster. All of our expectations were met!!! We were in room 2854 in the Chrysler Building (about 20 steps from the elevator). The room was a great size for the 3 of us. I found the foyer area to be quite wide and the bathroom bigger than I have usually seen. Everything was very clean (which is very important to us). We also discovered that the bathroom is very quiet. Someone can take a shower and never disturb people that are sleeping. We also discovered a store around the corner from the registration desk that is open 24 hours. This came in quite handy when one of us was sick at 4:00 a.m. Housekeeping was wonderful. We received any request within 10 minutes. The bellman was very helpful in describing how everything worked. Don't worry about being on the 28th floor, the elevators fly up and down the building. Only twice did we ever stop to pick up passengers. I would rate our room and service a 10 on the scale of 1 to 10. We only ate at America for lunch. The food was good, but the service was slow. The casino was pretty good. We only play nickel/penny slot machines, but they had enough of them. We found that the Aladdin had the most new machines and quantity of nickel/penny machines. Woud definitely stay at NY NY again!! P.S. Although the Barbary Coast is a small casino it always surprises us with a slot machine that we don't see at any other casino (we visited 14 casinos). This year is was Star Wars (penny). Very fun to play!!!!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! We had purchsased tickets to see Zumanity for Tuesday March 22nd. We had confirmation and had to pick up the tickets 2 hours before the show. We had booked the tickets online and paid in full for them. We did not get in to Vegas until late Sunday so that left us a day to relax and then Tuesday to see the show. We went early afternoon on Tuesday to get our tickets. We were told that "your show was last night!" Even though we had confirmation in hand of that the reaction was still "OH WELL...TOO BAD TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!!!" I was beyond furious. I spent 4 hours of my vacation trying to get this resolved. Finally I called the Vice President of entertainment and she gave me the run around for about 20 minutes but then decided to get me tickets for a show. By then the damage was already done. Nothing they could do at that point would ever make up for the 4 hours I wasted trying to get something fixed that they messed up to begin with. The final straw came when we went to leave..... We checked our luggage at the bell desk since we had 5 hours until we had to leave to go to the airport. When we returned to claim our bags they were no where to be found!!! My husband had to go back into the luggage storage and find our luggage.
I have been to Vegas many times and this was clearly my WORST EVER STAY!!!
NEW YORK NEW YORK SUCKS!!!!

This was a very good hotel to stay at. We had a Park Ave room and it was sweet. The location is excellent for the strip or to get on to the expressway and take the back roads to get around the Strip traffic. The casino is nice. Not to bad with the smoke. Service was fine. The bar's leave a little to be desired though. Two that I visited were small (no room) and very expensive. That part was a let down.

This was our second time staying at the NYNY. We call it our home!

Both times, we were blessed to have upgraded to a jacuzzi, one bedroom suite. It was very nice and we got the exact same room both times. The view was wonderful, despite the green tint on the windows. Our room was beautifully decorated and very cozy. Maid service was superb and we loved the chocolates on our pillows every night. We did room service which was wonderful and puncutal even for late at night. Rooms seemed sound proof and we never heard a peep from anyone on our floor or the elevators! ( even though we were right around the corner from them!)

NYNY is a great hotel, but I would recommend upgrading when you get there, as it's worth the extra few bucks!

NY/NY is a nice place. Not Bellagio or Mandalay Bay type nice, but very clean and new looking with an upper middle class feel to it. Decor is typical New York theme, as to be expected, with some really cool scenery in the casino.

Rooms are average size, bathrooms had shampoo and lotions but no separate shower. I loved the room darkening blinds that allow you to sleep in late after a long night out on the town. Staff seemed nice enough and accomodated our group that had various rooms reserved and did their best to put us close together in the hotel.

I didn't get a good vibe from the casino and found it to be a place that I wasn't comfortable gambling. To big, too open, to loud. Table limits were $10 and higher even during the week, and mostly $25 and up at peak times. The casino just seems to be missing that Vegas feel that some of the smaller casinos up the strip have, such as Casino Royale or Barbary Coast.

I didn't eat at the restaurants. I would recommend crossing the bridge to the MGM Grand Buffet for breakfast...very tasty and decent price. I did have a few drinks at the Nine Fine Irishmen bar and it was "fine". Neat scenery, but I would have preferred a more comfortable lounge bar that NY/NY lacks.

Given the location, this is a good place to stay, but I am going to visit some other properties farther north before I return here.

The New York New York is, in my opinion, a solid entry in the "middle-to-upper-middle" hotel category. It is comfortable, without being pretentious, and is pretty much on par with Aladdin, Luxor, MGM Grand, and Treasure Island. Since my wife and I opted for a suite (an 1100 sq. ft. Ziggurat room, for about $200 per night, offseason), I cannot speak for the "average" accommodation, but I have heard that they can be a little on the small side. This is probably due to the fact that the rooms have to "fit" within the hotel's faux skyline, and makes for some interesting layouts. Front desk staff (as was everyone with whom we dealt here) was VERY pleasant and helpful, so I have little doubt that if you tell them your specific needs, they will strive to meet them. The room was distinctively, and quite comfortably furnished, with an excellent bed, and a true two-person jacuzzi tub; my wife and I are both large people, and this one was a genuine pleasure. Although the standard rooms are less elaborate, you will not feel like you are staying at a cookie-cutter hotel here.

Parking (in relation to the rooms) was excellent for a larger property, and it was easy to get from the garage to our room without having to carry our bags through the casino, which is always most appreciated. Yes, you DO hear the roller coaster from within the room, but the sound is not disturbing, and the coaster's operating hours really mitigate the problem, anyway, unless you are inclined to sleep unusually late in the morning.

Food choices are among the most varied on the Strip, with something for every taste and budget, although the hotel is one of the few "majors" (perhaps the only one) without a buffet. Much authentic New York-style food abounds, and the presence of a Nathan's, delicious pizza, and Schraff's ice cream should satisfy any transplanted Easterner (like myself) who is missing the tastes of home. If your idea of good food means a $75 (or more) meal, you might want to consider another property, but otherwise, the dining is highly recommended.

The casino is among the best-themed on the Strip (without feeling tacky), and is of moderate size, with pretty much all the requisite gaming. Once again, the word which comes to mind is "comfortable," not overwhelming, but with its outstanding location across from MGM Grand and the three Mandalay (Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay) properties, your options are virtually unlimited. I am told that the pool area is disappointing (didn't see for myself, but given the layout, I can believe it), and shopping is rather minimal compared to many of the newest properties, but the latter is close at hand, anyway.

Staff was, as noted above, very friendly, and went out of their way to solve any problems that arose during our stay. My single consistent "complaint" was with the level of housekeeping. The rooms were clean, and the service timely, but there was a noticeable lack of polish or "finish" in the work, and it left an overall impression that was a definite notch below what we have experienced at some of the other hotels in this same general category. Still and all, it was a solidly positive experience, and one which I would be happy to repeat.

We stayed ay NY,NY for 4 nights. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a deluxe room and quite honestly it really isn't anything special. However I have never slept in a more comfortable bed anywhere ever!!! They were fantastic!! The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The spa was great. The bartenders the best!! Gaming was good but at night all the table games were raised to 10.00 minimum and most of the tables were empty. I can see this practice on weekends but not during the week. I visited many other hotels during the stay just so I could play $5.00 tables at night. This seems like a waste to me because many other people were saying the same thing. Would you rather have full tables at 5.00 ? or Empty ones at $10.00? The restaurants were good. America was somewhat disapointing high priced and smallish portions. A coffee shop should be a little more reasonable. On the other end, Chin Chin was excellent. Great prices large portions!! Overall a very good visit. I would stay again. (decent slot club)

My wife and I stayed at the NY-NY Hotel & Casino on Friday, 10/15 through Sunday, 10/17 while in town for a concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The hotel's airport check-in was fast and convenient. As the type of room we booked was unavailable at our check-in time, they upgraded us to a renovated Park Avenue room at no additional charge. Upon arriving at the hotel, we had no trouble finding the elevators or room using the map on the check-in/key booklet. Our room was extremely nicely appointed with a king bed, comfy chair with foot stool, armoir, and in-room safe - very comparable to other nicer strip hotels such as Paris Las Vegas. As many other reviews have noted, the hotel has an extremely wide array of dining options. My wife and I ate at the Gonzalez y Gonzalez Mexican restaurant and it was excellent. We also enjoyed listening to the Dueling Pianos in the Times Square Bar. The elevated walkways to MGM Grand and Excalibur make going to other casinos fast and easy. This is definitely a place we would like to stay again.

Stayed here 8/18 and 8/19-two comped rooms #910 and 919. Long walk from the elevator and the halls zig zag the whole way. Rooms were small in size but well appointed and clean. Could hear the roller coaster but was not affected by it. Lots of places to grab a quick bite. That worked well with us having our kids and everyone wanting to eat something different. Also ate at America-had great food and service. Lots of better steak houses than Gallaghers. Game room is quite large and will keep the kids busy as long as you have money to hand them. The casino layout was a little confusing. Only problem we had was my rating time. I had 10 hours in over two days and they claim to only have 5.25 recorded. They still took care of our charges so it didn't matter this time. But make sure to get a rating slip each time you leave so you can track you time and average bet. Great location on the strip. Had a good time here.

I had this vision on the flight out that since we were arriving in the pm that we would be offered a
jacuzzi suite. Sure enough it happened. Nothing super special but a nice bonus.

Location was awesome. walk to our room seemed to be a mile and a half long but NYNY more than
made up for that. Be sure to check out dueling pianos when you go. Great Hotel Great location Great
service.

Did not stay at the NYNY, but spent a lot of time gambling there. The slots were okay..not too loose, not too tight. Casino was busy and fun!

You can get great drinks at the Daquiri bar right at the second floor entrance! :)

HOWEVER: none of the resturants will let you bring the drinks in...which is amazing considering they were purchased in the resort! I can see if it was an independently owned resturant, but these are the NYNY resturants...that was a big turn off. So we took our drinks over to the MGM and they let us in two different restuarants with them! :)

NYNY casino was fun..looking forward to staying there on our next trip to Vegas.

PARENTS: Vegas is not the place for a family vacation..please keep your kids and strollers at home...or take them to Disney...what on earth is there for them to do in Vegas, and what are you planning to do with your children there? Porn on the streets, gambling, drinking..highly inappropriate to be pushing your kids about at midnight. DISNEY!

Stayed at NYNY April 13th through the 17th and had a great time. A 3-day pass to the fitness center was $35.00 and I felt like that was a bargain considering what you get access to. The fitness center is smaller than some others but the service is great and I was able to get three good workouts in during my stay, (Yes I like to workout on vacation since I have more time to get the workouts in).

Also, I think NYNY has the best collection of restaurants of any resort in LV. Ate at ESPN Zone Friday night the 16th and watched my beloved Red Sox trounce the Yankees. (Annual Red Sox Cheer = "THIS IS OUR YEAR!") Also got take-out at Chin Chin two nights in a row -- YUM!

A recording of Rita Rudner greets you in the morning if you schedule a wake up call. Rita had me laughing out loud even though it was a recording. Probably one of the better casinos on the strip -- Finished the trip ahead $400.00 which was enough to pay for all my expenses during the trip and bring home a little extra. The service at this hotel exceeded all my expectations. If you are complaining about the roller coaster, you are in bed too early!

What a joke! IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY KIND OF BACHELOR ACTIVITIES DON'T STAY HERE!! We had a stripper in our room, and they sent 6 security gaurds and the hotel manager up and kicked us out of the hotel FOREVER!! FOR A STRIPPER? "whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" does not apply here. They accused us of soliciting prostitution, when we answered the door in 10 seconds FULLY CLOTHED! This place is packed with police school drop-out rent-a-cops. For 169.00 we got a room the size of a shoebox, with the view of a brick wall, and payed an average of 8 dollars a drink(and the bartenders sucked). I guy at the "Big-Craphole Bar" we talked to waited 25 minutes for the bartender to settle his bill, and finally walked out without paying. We basically payed 170 dollars to store our luggage, since they booted us out at 7:30 Am. Don't forget to ask for a map at the front desk, cuz you'll never find your room. One of our friends dumped over 3000 bucks gambling, and all he got was a cafeteria-style dinner out of it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

If your out exploring LV you're not going to hear the loud rollercoaster from your room! I had fun! The casino was cool! A lot better than most of the other casinos. The rooms were very nice! O my god people! When are you going to realize that Vegas isn't a place
for kids. New York New York is swamped with them! Most likely because
of the roller coaster and the arcade. I would be mad if my parents skipped
Disney and took me here instead. Most of the parents just drop the kids
in the arcade and they then end up running around the casino disturbing
adults while looking for their parents. Yep, porn, alcohol and gambling,
that is exactly what I want my child exposed to. Those sales people at all
the doors are annoying as well. You can't get in or out without being
solicited.

The rooms here are pretty nice however. Good sized bathroom and clean.
Our maid, Gladys, did an excellent job every night. We stayed over New
Years so it was quite crowded for obvious reasons. Although check in and
check out went very quickly (less than 15 min.). This hotel has a few good
places to eat. They stay open late too which is helpful when you have that
3 am craving after coming home from the clubs. Not too fond of Nine Fine
Irishman. Very poor selection but the pear pizza wasn't half as bad as it
sounds.

Many people staying in the hotel complain about the roller coaster. Our
room overlooked one of the loops. We could hear it but not enough that it
bothered us. It closes at 11 and doesn't open until 10 the next day anyway.
If you go to Vegas, there is no reason you should be asleep by 11 anyway
so the roller coaster shouldn't be a big deal unless you are an extrememly
light sleeper . Overall, it was a decent hotel. I would go back if they offered
some really great specials. I have stayed at the MGM, Luxor, Flamingo,
Stardust, and the Venetian. Spring for the Venetian if you can but the MGM
isn't bad either. They are both more "adult" friendly. If you must bring your
children here. I would definately recommend New York New York or
Excalibur.
