The only reason this hotel is rated so low on this site, is because no one that goes to the HRH usually fills
out these type of websites. The Hardrock is by far the best Hotel in Vegas for young people, married or
not. If you don't like it, it's because you have your kids, which you shouldn't have in Vegas anyway, or your
the type of person who stays in their room at night and reads a book. The Pool is also, by far, the best in
Vegas. LONG LIVE THE HRH!!!

Did not stay here but visited because our children wanted some Hard Rock Vegas shirts (we are from
England) - OH my god we went over Memorial Weekend the place is just dripping money, outside the
casino entrance it's all Bentley, Jaguar and Mercedes. Inside the place is no place for 45 year olds like us -
You need to be 20's and loaded and have a fit body to fit in here - the girls are wandering around the
whole property in tiny bikinis and it's impossible not to stare!
The casino was absolutely deserted nobody playing yet people all over the rest of the property - that wont
work.
So to sum up you need to be young and rich and most of all shallow!

Stayed here on business for the second time, and I can safely say that the ONLY time I will ever stay here is when my company sends me here. The rooms are nice, but bring money if you plan on doing anything. The service was a bit better this time than on my last visit, but unless you are flashing a major wad of cash you probably won't get anybody's attention. The casino is small, which is not a bad thing except the limits are always pretty high and they seem to do their best to discourage the small players from sitting down at the tables. Also, I thought it interesting that there were hookers all over the property propositioning you on a regular basis.

The only real fun I had was when I went off property, but even this was a major expense because we were told that they didn't have their shuttle to the strip anymore. I don't know if this was a temporary thing or if they have eliminated it permanently. I would imagine they don't want to make it easy for anybody to leave because they may not want to come back once they're gone. The pool is nice, but if you're not a young hard-body don't bother going down. Plus, it closes at 8 o'clock so if you do anything during the day you won't get a swim in during the evening hours.

Overall it wasn't a very good trip. Oh, and do NOT even open the mini-bar if you aren't going to use something. Just touching the stuff inside will get you charged. Frankly, there are cheaper, nicer, and better located places to stay than this place.

Stayed at Hard Rock over 4th July weekend and had a great time. Room was newly renovated with plasma TV. Easy to navigate because Hotel & Casino is small and compact. Rehab pool-party is the best time I've had all year; highly recommended. Staff was ok. If you've been to Vegas a million times you won't mind the location; stay on-property and have a great time.

Good hotel. For the younger party-goers, not for families. Not really on strip. They have a shuttle to get you on the strip during the day. Small casino. Price is usually too high for the smallish rooms and the bad location. We got a good deal and gave it a try. Would only stay there again if we had another super cheap rate.

This place is so small, and so far from the strip! My kid wanted to stay there. When he visited we saw that it wasn't a great place and went to another place on the strip. The casino is tiny. Son expected a lot of action going on. We only saw a handfull of young 20ish men who were sitting and hoping to see a girl. The only women I did see were two snobby bimbos in the restroom, and the young woman working in a gift store. How is this place going to make it?

I love this place and I always stay here. When I travel to Vegas...I want to hear current rock music, be in a party astmopshere, eat good food (Nobu and Simons are fantastic dinner places and Mr. Luckys is open 24/7 for any kind of food), chat with friendly bartenders, enjoy a poolside cocktail while listening to music and relaxing. If you like rock music, this is the place. Everyone else is playing everything else on their music systems. I come to Vegas to enjoy and I enjoy the Hard Rock. Rock on!

Stayed for first time at Hard Rock and had a blast. We were there for 2 days and I played a lot while the wife visited the Spa and hung out at the pool. The staff kept the comps flowing like water and were all very kind and helpful. While the casino is definitely not as large as some of the others on the strip, it had a great vibe and wasn't claustophobically packed. Oh, and the pool is insane...best onein Vegas by far. Definitely going back here next time in town.

This place sucks so bad, I would rather sleep at the bus station than this hole. The employees are the rudest, most arrogant people on the planet. The location is far away from most good attractions, and the service and casino are pitiful. Stay away at all costs!

I was curious abut the Hard Rock so I stopped in. Wow, the reviewers on this page are spot-on. This is one affected, rude, testosterone infested, establishment. I purposely approached several employees with simple questions, just to see if they were all as rude as reported. Only one of them seemed nice, the rest were more interested in each other. There was a clerk behind the front desk on her cell phone while customers were waiting in line. The clientele are self absorbed twenty-somethings with more attitude than years. After about a 1/2 hour, I had all I could take.

Unless you're a rude 27 year old a**hole with a cell phone permanently attached to your ear, stay away.

I can't believe all these negative comments! This place is one of the best hotel and casinos in Vegas. Check-in was quick, room was very clean, room was modern and had some toys, casino was good, bartenders were very friendly, SPA was nice, comps were GREAT!
I am no high-roller by any means and I was treated like a king here. Played a lot, won some, and got comped well.
I didn't want to leave!

I hosted a bachelor party for my best friend and the 12 of us in attendance planned to go to the Hard Rock's V.I.P. club. Our experience was the worst and nearly ruined the entire weekend for everyone involved.

We arrived around 10 p.m. and entered a long line. Over the next 2+ hours, we slowly made our way to the front of the line. We then stood at the front of the line for the next 30+ minutes while the doorman or manager ignored us and proceeded to pluck people from the line who were on some mythical guest list or attractive enough to meet his high standards.

While we stood in line, dozens of people elbowed past us without so much as an apology. They were then rewarded with entrance to the club. When we finally got a doorman’s attention and asked about when we could enter the club, he asked, “Are you on the list?” When I told him we weren’t, he said there was “no chance” of us getting in.

This night was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. I have one best friend and I wanted to give him the ultimate bachelor party. I credit the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with ruining our night and allowing us to waste at least three hours in waiting and to-and-from-the-club transit.

If Hard Rock is going to selectively allow people to enter the club if they’re on a “list” then they need to adopt one of the following policies:

1) Post a sign that says “VIP club members ONLY. If you’re not on the list, don’t get in line.”

2) Create a VIP line to keep all of the jerks from elbowing past everybody else. Post a sign next to the second line that explains that all VIPs (read: people on the list) will get in first. Guests in the second line will only be permitted if the VIP line is empty and space is available.

Getting treated like cr@p by some smug kid who gets paid by the hour is the worst. The greatest eye candy in Vegas doesn't begin to compensate for the arrogant staff, the bizarre policies, and the indifference to their guests. You're better off going anywhere else.

Don't believe everything you hear...the Hard Rock is great! We just got back from a couple of nights at the hotel (mid-week) with our two kids (under 12). Everyone was friendly, service was good, food was decent (but $$$). All in all, a good trip. We never felt out of place with kids, although it could be a totally different story on weekends. We recommend it!

Had a great time here. No attitude problems to be found. Stayed Wed-Fri. The staff was attentive and friendly including the front desk and the pool staff. Yes, the pool is all that; blaring rock music and hard bodies abound. Definitely geared towards 20's and 30's somethings. That's what separates this pool from the others. You don't come here to relax in a tranquil setting which you can find at any hotel. You come here to drink and party. A tip : when you order drinks at the pool, get it in the plastic Tiki souvenir glass. It's a couple of bucks less and few ounces more than if you ordered 2 separate drinks.
Rooms were well appointed and a little larger than your average room. Nice touch with the 200 thread count, all down pillows and comforter. But I disagree with charging $6 for a bottle of water.
