2nd stay at the 4 queens this visit was alot better than the first we were in the tower farther from the freemont street experince and on the 17th floor room was clean and service was great would recomend for visitors that want to blend in and dont need to be the center of attention, We Love downtown, as every thing is at your doorstep gaming seems to be better here than on the strip How else do you figure they will pay for those mega resorts. Been there 10 times 5th time down town will not stay on strip any more it just feels right down there.

I've been going to downtown Vegas for nearly 30 years but have not stayed at Four Queens however while playing craps there recently, a woman stole $145 from me on the table. Security caught her right away, called Gaming control, I filed the necessary written and verbal account and was told by mgmt of the Four Queens that they needed to keep the money so Gaming Control could pursue a case against the thief. After several emails to Four Queens, they have still not informed when I would be getting my money. They are essentially ignoring me. Everyone watch your money there as you'll get no help from the Casino.

Needed a place to stay for one night so I went back to the Four Queens. I feel so comfortable at this hotel. The rooms are nice (much better with the updates too!) and offer exactly what I want, a good comfortable place to sleep. They are a bit on the small side and the bathrooms are tiny, but I had everything I needed. The casino is probably the best downtown and is always hopping with activity. The limits look like they've gone up a bit, but it seems that way everywhere I think. I also see the 6:5 payout on blackjack creeping into the downtown area as well (not just here, but all over it seemed). However, the staff was extremely friendly and it just seems like the people in this casino are all having fun as they play. Also, I spent St. Patrick's Day downtown and the place was full of action. A lot of fun. I have stayed at the Four Queens a couple of times now and definitely plan on coming back.

I recently spent four days at the Four Queens and had a geat time. The hotel room was completely redone as was the bathroom - new furiture with flat screen TV and cofffee maker. Excellent maid service. The casino was outstanding with plenty of loose machines and plenty of table games - I even saw three dollar blackjack. The resturants are nothing special but are standard fare and certainly accepatable. The location is outstanding.Check it out.

Stayed 2 nights at the 4 Queens in September 07. This was my first stay downtown. I chose the 4 Queens because of the online ratings at many sites. This was my first stay downtown but it won't be my last. I guess I was expecting a little more when I opened the room door but it is a nice basic room with a very comfortable bed. Also had in room coffee maker which you don't see on the strip. My biggest complaint was the noise factor. You can litterly hear everything going on in the rooms on either side. Paper thin walls. I was in the North Tower which is the older tower which may have something to do with it. Other than that, I enjoyed the casino and the very friendly and helpful dealers as I was just a beginner at Blackjack. Registration staff was also very nice. Yes, I would return to the Four Queens.

I LOVED this hotel. My new husband and I got married in Missouri on 7-7-07, and proceeded to Las Vegas for a honeymoon. We arrived at the hotel and had nothing but good things to say about our entire stay. It was reasonably priced, was not fancy or exclusive but we were looking for value and a nice place to spend time in our room and time in the casino while there this visit. It was our first visit downtown, and I must say that the next trip to Vegas, we will MOST DEFINITELY stay again. Thank you guys for making this stay a memorable one!

My wife and I visited the Four Queens in April and were very happy with everything at the Four Queens. I played mainly Black Jack and would like to thank (Mario) for being so nice and I believe that Marilyn was the name of the pit boss that was so helpful. Comps were very good and plan on returning in April of this year.

The Four Queens is a what you see is what you get kind of place. I had never stayed downtown and due to a function I was attending I decided to stay in the area. I got a good deal at the Four Queens and found the place to be fine. Rooms are a little outdated and they had an elevator out of service but those were my only complaints. Staff is very friendly and I would stay there again.

We usually stay at the Golden Nugget, but in Jan. noted that there Deluxe Rooms were looking a bit shabby and they wanted a high rate for this March weekend. So we tried the 4 Queens after hearing that they just renovated all of their rooms. Just returned from a 3 night weekend at the Four Queens.

The rooms have all been renovated. Booked a Jacuzzi Suite for about $200/night. Room consisted of 2 small/medium sized rooms. King bed, table for 2, nightstands, tv armoire with refrigerator. Sitting room with sofa, chair, 2 ottomans, 2 end tables, coffee service, and spacious mirrored 2 person jacuzzi. Ample closet space. Small bathroom.

Still a few oldish items, bathroom mirror and counter, some paint slops.

NEW - Carpet, furniture, 32" plasma t.v., beds/bedding, drapes, wall paper, bath floor, shower/tub, tile, sink, faucet, VERY NICE.

WOULD LIKE A SAFE IN THE ROOM, THOUGH, FOR MONEY AND JEWELRY!!! A microwave would be nice, since it's a suite, for the leftovers from meals. Wish they had a swimming pool here also!

Casino has nice atmosphere, just a step down from the Golden Nuggets. Magnolia's Restaurant has decent food, great ham steak breakfast with fabulous hashbrowns, for only $5., with the player's card.

Hubby and I are middle of the road gamblers - like 5-10-25-50 and 100 dollar blackjack hands, depending on our mood and how were doing. We did pretty well at the Four Queens. Found the slots very good this trip. Did pretty good at the Blackjack tables here also. Friendly & accomodating staff from every department; front desk, housekeeping, player's club, dealers, pit bosses, restaurants. Did not have elevator problems, room was in the North Tower.

I am fairly picky about my room and would not hesitate to stay here again. At the end of our stay the player's club clerk told us to call the casino host and he thought we would get some room or meal comp. We were absolutely thrilled to have all of our meals and the room completely comped!! We will be back! How does August sound!

STAYED IN VEGAS FOR 3 DAYS 9/9/2006---9/11/2006 DIDN'T STAY AT THE HOTEL, ONLY DID OUR GAMBLING HERE. MY WIFE PLAYS THE SLOTS AND SHE REALLY LIKED THE NEW CHAIRS THEY HAVE UPGRADED TO IN THE SLOT SECTION,THEY HAVE UPGRADED THE WHOLE CASINO FLOOR, THE CARPET LOOKED GREAT AND THEIR AIR FILTER SYSTEM IS MUCH IMPROVED. THE SMOKE WASN'T BAD AT ALL, IN THE PAST I COULD HARDLY STAND BEING IN THE CASINO BECAUSE OF THE SMELL. THEY HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB ON REMODELING.
THE SREVICE STAFF WAS REALLY GREAT, TIPPED A BUCK FOR THE BOTH OF US AND NEVER HAD TO WAIT ON DRINKS,SHE CAME BY EVER 15 MIN. THE SLOTS WERE REALLY GOOD TO MY WIFE,BUT NOT TO ME. I PLAY BJ MOST OF THE TIME AND WHEN I DO PLAY THE SLOTS I NEVER DO ANY GOOD. I WISH I COULD COMMENT ON THE HOTEL, BUT LIKE I SAID WE DIDN'T STAY HERE, WE STAYED AT THE GOLDDEN NUGGET AND DID MOST OF OUR GAMBLING HERE AT THE FOUR QUEENS.

Stayed at the queens for the 2nd time now, had a great time. We stayed in the south tower 6th floor. Our stay was for a week. Played mostly 25 cent slots. Rooms were nice, however after the third day we deicided to talk to a casino host and see if he could up grade us to a suite. After further review of our play, he dediced that he would comp our ENTIRE room bill and FOOD bill. GREAT place and very friendly service. Suggestion for anyone staying there and that plays slots alot. Contact a casino host and ask him/her what would be expected for room/food comp. THey will give you a good idea on what you need to play to get that. Surprisingly it isnt that much. Another suggestion charge all your food bills to your room, then before you leave ask a casino host to look at your play and see what he can knock off your bill> GREAT PLACE and GREAT people working there.

My wife and I have been visiting Las Vegas for 20+ years. Initially we stayed on the strip but 7 years ago we tried the Four Queens and have been returning every year since our first visit. We are convinced that the Four Queens offer the best balance in Las Vegas when you factor in friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, good security, great food at their dining areas, excellent slot machines and favorable comps. We are looking forward to another full week visit starting 1-08-07. Thanks!

When we arrived we were greeted pleasantly at valet parking & check-in was a breeze. From time of arrival to our rooms was a matter of 10 minutes. The rooms were the standard rooms which were clean and comfy. The bathroom was small but we don't need the Taj Mahal. We ate mostly at Magnolia's where the food was good and reasonable, but we had a hostess there who was quite rude when we didn't at first respond to our being addressed. We had fun in the casino and occasionally enjoyed playing some of their nickel slots and video poker when we wanted to relax a bit. Overall good experience and also enjoyed the Fremont Street Experience & the light shows. We will visit again.

Ah, the Four Queens. Decided to stay there this past weekend because it was both cheap and available. The parking was simple. We dragged our bags to the lobby and were quickly waited upon by the clerk. Watching my buddy blow a gasket when she asked "one bed or two" was priceless. Especially when we answered in unison, "Two!" She placed us in the South Tower as requested with a view of the Strip.
The room was clean and comfortable. However, a quick check of the TV found the cable unplugged. We quickly diagnosed the problem and screwed the cable back in. Below basic was all that was available. However, who spends time in the hotel room in Vegas, right? We noticed the broken glass on the photo hanging next to the restroom. Lifted the picture off the wall, and, what you know, a fist-size whole in the wall. Oh well. The bathroom was old school, but clean. The air conditioning was cold and quiet. Plus, it drowned out the screaming and carrying on from the children occupying the rooms across the hall.
The casino itself is very old school. Management has stuffed slot machines into most every nook. The table games appeared squished in. One $2 table was always filled and the single deck only pays 6 to 5.
The restaurants were adequate. The Chicago Brewery offers their own handmade brews and a room for cigar smokers.
Overall, a good visit. Worth every dollar of Sunday through Thursday rate. Weekends, you could do better. But, then you wouldn't be able to walk around the downtown's old ladies.

When we first arrived we were greated by a greaseball bell hop who couldn't keep his top half buttons of his shirt buttoned [so we saw all of his chest hair]. He, rather kindly, took our bags and put them into the lobby untill we were checked in and allowed to go up to our room. Then we noticed that while we were checking in, our bags were just left there with no one to watch them, while all the bellhops went into another room to chat.
When we were going up to our room we noticed about six very large stains in the carpet and a smell that made you think they haven't cleaned the hotel since it opened. Our rooms were equally disgusting. We walked in and we noticed the floor was dirty, and two of our lamps didn't work. Upon further inspection of the room we found urine on the toliet seat (when none have us had gone bathroom in the room yet), black hair in between our sheets, stains all over the pillows, bed spreads, and sheets, and blood stains on one of our towels [which could have easily been reused...if they actually felt like wasting their precious money on some bleach].
When we called house keeping for extra towels and two more pillows (in hope that those would be clean) we were told they were not on duty at the moment, and we would have to call the front desk. At the front desk (which we had to walk to, because no one was answering the phone) we were told that we would have to leave a message for the maids to bring up pillows and towels. He then wrote our room number and "2 pillows, 2 towels" on a post-it note and told us that was all he could do. Hours later we got our stuff, which was stained like everything else in our room.
Every person working at the hotel seemed to be low lifes that would have liked to be anywhere else but there [with an exception to one extrememly kind and helpfull waiter at Mongolia's].
Fremont street in general just seemed like a dump. I would not reccomend ever going there, as it is a complete waste of time. Even the light show was tacky, seeing as it was just pictures of cars and girls wearing bikinis with fake fruit on them.
If you plan on staying in Vegas, stick to the strip. It may cost a little more, but it's definately be worth it.

My girlfriend (who has never been to Vegas) and I just got back from a 3 day, 2 night Southwest Airlines Vacation package. This was my first time to use this service and I must say it was great!

We arrived at the Four Queens at 9:30am and to my amazement, our room was ready! We were fully prepared to leave our luggage with the Bellman but after about 5 minutes to checkin, we were in the room!

Room - we had a queen in the North tower. It was great for a few hours sleep and a shower. Sure the bathroom is small, but has all the required features. The maid was there by 2pm everyday and things were very clean and everything was taken care of. Talked to a worker in an elevator and he said they are doing a lot of remodeling to improve the hotel. The desk clerks were great and when we asked for a late checkout, it was easily taken care of.

Casino - We gambled at most of the downtown locations and found them all to be excellent. Sure, they are older and a little less glittery but that gives them charm. And security in this area is super, lots of visable officers and I am in law enforcement and notice these things. The WSOP preparations were ongoing at Binyons and that was interesting to see. The Nugget is just spectacular and it is obvious they have done a lot of work to improve it. Won a little, lost a little at slots and if you like craps, try after midnight at the Queens. Great older crowd, less kids around.

Food - The Main Street Station buffet continues to be excellent and is a super value. Ate at number of spots on the strip, NASCAR Cafe was cool and really economical. Nathans Famous Hotdogs at NYNY was great too!

Transportation - Used the 301/302 bus several times, day and night. Most riders were tourists with a few local characters and lots of casino workers but for $2.00, it is good value. Also used the shuttle from the backside of Harrahs to go to Rio several times. No problems, runs about every 15 minutes.

Problems- The Timeshare people HAVE GOT TO GO! They are a royal pain in the neck, like vultures and they seem to have permented every casino and resort. They are as bad or worse than the porn people, who by the way have GOT TO GO too. Each year they seem to get worse and they have totally trashed out every foot of the strip with their discarded garbage. Saw several who were obviously drunk/high and they were much more aggressive than the past.

Overall, great trip, second time to stay at the Queens and I will be back soon. Its not the Wynn but if you want a place to sleep, gamble and be able to walk to everything you need...this is the place for you!

Four Queens Hotel and Casino

Date Visited: 07/05
I stayed three nights, 7/24-7/26 2005, my first stay at 4Queens Hotel.

First the general physical accomodations: the room was small (compared to my usual place, Lady Luck) but furnished more than sufficiently. The bathroom was pretty typical, providing shampoo, lotion, soaps, etc. However, on both sides of the wall (the adjoining bathroom), during the time water was run at desired temp, a loud shaking/rumbling occurred - somewhat annoying. The sleeping area had a TV with a very small number of viewing choices, no HBO; I rate that barely adequate for someone who wants to spend some time in the room between fleecings. A 4 cup coffee maker with a morning's worth of coffee and condiments is provided.

The real downside to 4Queens, at least in the North Tower, is noise. The Fremont Experience runs hourly 9p-Midnight for about 7-10 mins and is quite loud and possibly right outside your window (I was on the 8th Floor). In addition, there are loud street performances going on until even later. If you somehow want to catch some sleep from 11p on, you better have earplugs.

Also, 4Queens will not guarantee a non-smoking room, so if you have your heart set on one, you could be out of luck. I was initially told they had no non-smoking rooms available, but by waiting a couple of hours for maid service, I managed to get one. I'm sure others will be highly unamused by this policy. For that reason alone, I will stay elsewhere in the future.

Decent value overall (I paid $30+tax through Hotwire), but noisy and questionable accomodation of non-smokers.

stayed here june 06 just like i do every june(have to go when the kid is out of school).I love the location of the four queens being right in the middle of the fremont street exp. Its super easy to walk from the hotel to either el cortez/western casinos or the other way to the main street station/california casinos. I'm only 42 but its nice to be within easy walking distance of the other hotels. If you get a north room the elevator is only 15-20 feet inside the door from the FSE so its easy to use your own private bathroom to do what you need to do or get more cash from your room!!!....Yes the elevator is slow but so what. Yes the bathrooms are small but so what. Yes the room could be facing the FSE and you might hear the sounds at night but so what. These are only a real problem if you are particularly picky or go to bed before midnight and are a real light sleeper. As far as the casino goes i don't play slots but i would rather play BJ at some of the other places, especially the el cortez. I've had a couple of real good runs there the last couple of years after losing at some of the other downtown casinos. The food is decent at the restaurants at the 4qs and worth the price. I think the best part of the 4qs is the location and the value of the hotel( I usually pay 26.95-29.95 for mid week which is often the cheapest online for midweek to stay somewhere at fse in June)Its not my favorite casino, i much prefer el cortez or the Main Street Station or Binions of old to gamble but the hotel is hard to beat which is why i will stay there next time also. Hope this of use............

Some months ago I rated this hotel a bad visit. I then e-mailed the hotel the reasons for not coming back. I then recieved a phone call from hotel operations, Walt Lobeck. I was surprised by the call and he informed me because of the reasons behind the bad reviews that we would be upgraded to a suite, free of charge on our next trip back. So, we went back to give them one more chance. I am happy to say that this time we were treated great. The suites were great and handicapped friendly. The room was cleaned and the bed and pillow cases changed everyday. The bathroom was large and had two sinks. I can say that the 4 Queens was a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Four Queens on a package deal. On arrival we were assigned to the seventh floor in the North Tower. The Freemont Street Experience light canopy and speakers are even with the 7th floor, even room numbers, (ie, 702, 704, 706, we had 710). While this would not bother the gamblers who stay out all night, my husband (who does not gamble) prefers to return to the room early and read and watch TV. Needless to say, it was a long night for him.

The next morning, he visited the front desk, and told them the situation. The young lady was very sympathetic and very accomodating. Rather that just moving us up in the North Tower (older Tower), she moved us to the newer South Tower where the rooms are newer, and more comfortable. Our experience with the Four Queens staff was above average all over the hotel and casino.

Would I call this a "Family Friendly" property. No, but then I don't think any casino is a good place for children. If you feel the need to bring the little rug rats, then I suggest you look for a property like "Texas Station" where childcare is provided at a cost.

Well... after making the rounds and staying at the Golden Nugget, then the Four Queens. We decided to stay on the strip. We went to the Trop and couldn't believe the funky smell comming from the carpets. Actually burned the nose! The next trip we stayed at Hotel San Remo. Boy what a big mistake. TERRIBLE service, cold food and jack hammers outside the window at 8:30 AM.
We have decided that we definately like the downtown area better than the strip. So... we rebooked the 4 Queens for May 2006. Why??? Value. Although we had problems last visit like waiters pouring beer in my lap, getting stuck in an elevator and a couple of dealers who really didn't want to be there and obviously didn't want you there either. Overall we liked the hotel. I think that they could have comped us a little for the beer and elevator.
We are of the mindset that when in Vegas... why sleep? You can't see the room with your eyes closed. Rooms were adequate for our needs. When on the strip we sometimes had to walk a mile or take a taxi to get back to our room. Not downtown! Plus we seem to always lose on the strip. Downtown you get more play for the buck.
In a nutshell, we will stay at the 4 Queens as long as their room rates don't skyrocket.
One final thing... watch out for the guy dressed as a girl in the mens bathroom.

I have to be honest, I was not looking forward to my stay at the 4 Queens. In fact the only reason, I was going to be staying there, was because I was visiting L.V. during "March Madness", and the city was selling out fast, so we grabbed the one room at 4Q's. I was just itching to find something wrong with the place, based on the reviews, you are reading right now. My stay was FANTASTIC!!! You can't really expect such a large hotel to offer prompt service 24/7, but it was prompt enough, for us "low rollers". Everyone was friendly, and helpful. THe room was a descent size, very clean, and felt brand new. We stayed in the south tower, on the 17th floor. The casino, had pretty standard "lower" minimums. The only problem I had with the place was the dealer named "Micheal". He claims he's a craps dealer, but managed to take back all the money my friend SCOTT had won, on the roulette table with the previous dealer, in about 2 minutes flat!! So yeah, in closing, 4 Quenn's good, micheal the "craps dealer", who takes your money on the Roulette table, BAD. Also, our stay was 3-15-05 to 3-17-05, if that helps in your decision making...

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the 4 Queens. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the south tower. We picked that tower and a floor below the 4th floor because of comments I read on some message boards. I am glad we listened. The south tower is supposed to have the larger rooms. Floors 4 and below have safes. We had a quick check in. The check in clerk was friendly. She did not know much about the rooms though as I asked her if it were true if they had safes. She did not know until she pulled it up. The room did have a safe, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I think I had to ask for a hair dryer last year when we stayed here on a higher floor. I asked for non smoking and none were available. The room was clean, but the water pressure in the sink was horrible and it smelled very badly like SMOKE! I had some spray and sprayed it in the vent and it helped a little. The one thing we were pleased about was the tub drained well. Normally when we stay at a older hotel (and even some of the newer ones) the tubs don't drain. The only bad service thing I have to say is about the maids. We stayed up very late the first night and they were at our door by 7:30 am the next morning. This was fine, but I told her we were not up yet and we would be our of the room in a bit. She either did not understand me or something because we came back to our room later that night and it was not cleaned. I had to call for fresh towels and soap (they give you very little soap and tiny bottle of shampo and lotion-which is fine as we know this is a budget type hotel). We did not have a problem with them cleaning the room the rest of the stay, but they would not leave TP until it was almost completely gone.

The casino was good to me this time. It was not last year. They had a good selection of $.25, $.05 and $.01 slots for me to try out. My husband was going to play BJ there, but the tables were either too crowded or didn't have anyone on them the different times we looked.

We received a free breakfast, lunch or dinner from the players club because my husband's birthday was in January (we checked in on January 30th). We used it the next morning for breakfast at Magnolia's Cafe. The breakfast was good.

Four Queens Hotel and Casino

This was my fourth trip to Las Vegas in seven years, the first without my better half. I stayed at the Four Queens as I like the convenience of downtown. Everything is close without the long hikes to get around like on the strip. This was the third time I've stayed at the Four Queens. It will most likely be my last. Here's why. I spent a very large portion of my time playing black jack. Most of the dealers acted as though they wound have rather been anywhere else. Other than offering insurance on a dealer's ace up, I seldom heard many of them even speak. As I was walking through the casino and made eye contact with dealers at tables with no players, I would say, "Hi" or nod with a smile. Most of the time, I would get no response at all. Just a dumb stare. It's no wonder no one was playing at their tables. At one point, I had lost 20 out of 22 (double deck) hands and jokingly commented to the pit boss that I had just paid their light bill for the day. His straight faced reply: "Good. Someone has to." He then turned his back towards me and walked away. I know what you're thinking. Why didn't I go somewhere else to play? Well, I played there exclusively only because I was staying there and was looking to get my room comped. That didn't happen either. I think I was in about every other casino downtown and found nicer dealers at about all of them.
My non-smoking room was in the north tower. There were no unpleasant odors and the room was dark with the lined curtains drawn. I slept great on the extra firm king size bed. The Freemont Street light show at night was rather loud in the room, but if I was already asleep, it didn't awaken me. The bathroom was just large enough for one person to navigate in. The shower water pressure was weak, sink was very slow to drain, and a lamp shade on a table lamp by the bed was coming apart and full of holes. The room was, however, was very clean and did have new carpeting. The maid staff did a great job. I ate breakfast at Magnolia's in the casino. Their food alone (I had eggs benedict) was worth the trip. They've got great pizza at the hotel as well. All of the rest of the staff at the hotel was wonderful. The only surley ones that I saw were at the table games. By the way, there is a bank of quarter progressive video poker machines on the south wall. At least once a day, a Royal Flush was hit there. Usually for around $1400.00. I didn't have any luck at all, but many others did. I hope this report is helpful to you.

Considering the overall value of the Four Queens, they far exceeded my expectations. Employees were very customer oriented and cocktails were the most frequent here, during my experience on Fremont. Rooms were in contemporary decor, bedding was magnificant, and room smelt pleasant. Compared to the mega resorts on the strip, room was small but again, considering the cost you definitely get more than what you pay for. Rooms had basic amenities such as a coffee maker, iron & board, alarm clock, large closet, and movie rental. Hotel restaurants were very good (Magnolias, Hugos, and Chicago Brewing Company) and were also worth their price in quality and service.

*Warning* Unlike the strip you probably want a rental car while staying on Fremont. This was our first stay downtown and thought the city bus would adequately meet our needs and for a $5.00 all day pass, we thought the bargain was well worth the sacrafice. The drivers were rude and unhelpful, the buses were overcrowded and standing room only, and there were always 3-4 VERY scary Las Vegas locals aboard. While Fremont is great in it's convienece (you can go to any casino very easily and quicly) I probably won't stay downtown again and if I do, I will definitely have a rental. Overall, GREAT visit! :)

Great stay, Rooms are worn and in need up upgrading. Stayed in mini suite and it was very large but carpet was worn and furniture diry. Maid service was great.Used Room Service every day (7 day stay) and it was always hot and quick.
Staff very helpfull and polite. Dealers very friendly. Loved staying down town will never stay on the strip again. Found it so easy to get around. Used cabs to go to the strip for shows with no problem. Price was great and the service was good. (Better then the service we received at Paris the year before)

Upon checkin to this motel we were automatically put on hold as the bell service could finish their joke about animals. The elevators were about the slowest I've come accross, (first day was about 15 minutes). When we finally got to our room we were greeted by a meal, someone elses that was left in the doorway which we stepped over. We went to have our first meal in LV at Magnolia's Veranda, excellent choice as always, but the tray was still sitting in the doorway afterwords. We called the office, house keeping, and room services to have it dealt with and still took 3 hours to move it to the end of the hall where it sat another 24 HOURS. The room was small stained and mildewed, and had definatly seen better days. The view from our window was nice and gave a distant view of the strip that was good for pictures. When retiring for the night we realized that the bed was extra stiff, and we could hear the elevators all the time even though we were 7 rooms away from them.

All in all, not impressed with the hotel services at all.

I stayed in a suite in the south tower, room was old and needed some work to say the least. The casino was great with good vp and great bj. All hotel and casino staff was friendly, helpful and effecient. The old, not so modern accomodations were more than made up for by an excellent casino and staff.

We visit LV twice a year and always stay at the Four Queens. It is a great value. Quick check-in and the rooms are what we requested. Rooms are average but clean and comfortable. Casino is very good. Several $5.00 blackjack tables and good value VP machines. Magnolia's food is very good. Great location. We have never had a bad experience at the Four Queens.

Stayed in the south tower and had a huge, remodeled room on the 12th floor. Our room was as good as any I have ever had in Vegas. Another couple that we were with, got a smoking room in the north tower, and it was basically a closet with a bed - tiny! I was very pleased with the value of our stay, and the location is awesome. We did most of our gambling at the Lady Luck or the Fitz - 4 Queens casino was very smokey, especially later at night. Parking was close by and free for guests. The restaraunt is ok. The lounge is small, but nice. They serve some micro-brews on tap for about $3 a pint. Overall, I would stay at the 4 Queens again, although I will try to get into Mainstreet Station next time, if it is available.

When we checked in, we were treated like 2nd class citizens. My husband asked for a room with a view. Our room was in the North Tower. Our view was the top of the light show canopy. The water in the bathtub ran (not dripped, ran) non stop for all of our 4 night stay. Had to keep the bath door shut to sleep. The room was okay other than that. The casino was small but I did win a little money there. Liked having our room downtown, as that is where we wanted to spend our evening hours anyway. We visited the strip during the day hours. A lot of the restaurants seemed to close early though. We did eat at Magnolia's once and the food was okay. We are going to return to Vegas in May, 2004 and give the Four Queens another try. I will not accept another inferior room again though. Hopefully the second visit will be better at this hotel. We did have a blast in Vegas!

Stayed at Four Queens on Jan. 10, 2004. I normally stay at Strip hotels because I prefer the action/night life on the Strip, but Saturday night stays on the Strip are too expensive for me. So I chose Four Queens because they had a good Sat. night rate at a place that seemed decent downtown ($90).

The room was decent and clean. The room was ready when they said it would be and the free parking was nice. Staff was friendly. I'm not a big gambler, but had some luck on the penny machines in their casino. I like that you can get Subway sandwiches in the wee hours; but disappointed that the Noble Romans sign says pizza is available 24 hours a day, but it wasn't true.

Enjoyed the band at Golden Nugget and the shrimp cocktail at Golden Gate.
