The breakfast buffet is very reasonable, but it is always better when the hotel gives a coupon for a free meal. The selection may not have been as big as some buffets, but the quality and cleanliness more than make up for any shortcomings.

I had breakfast here. The buffet is a few dollars cheaper than other buffets on the strip. The selection is small but good. With the Omelots, you put your ingredients into a bowl and then the cook makes your omelot.

I was there before they had the people go to the hospital from food poisening. The meal was VERY bad. I do not see how this casino can stay in business with this food. I tried everything, only eating one forkfull, the waiter had to PICK UP A FULL PLATE. I almost asked for my money back. NEVER AGAIN...

ate lunch here with a friend because he had vouchers. The food was overall pretty ordinary, but the Asian bar was excellent. Although the food was not bad, there is better food to be had elsewhere. Unless I was eating here free, or at a reduced rate, I would go elsewhere.

Very good buffet for the money. Not as many selections as Aladdin or Bellagio - but about half the price of those places. Everything is well prepared and hot. Usual selection of roast beef and pork, turkey, pasta, etc. Great Mashed potatoes, good fried chicken, terrific fruit and salad bar (in terms of quality - not neccessarily huge selection). Even had a station with a japanese chef doing "Benihana style" teppan steak. Made to order omelettes at breakfast.
Good desserts. If you want Bellagio - go to Bellagio. But for a good dinner for 14.95, this buffet is a good choice.

Good hot food with quite an extensive range of meats and fish dishes etc. Compared with other slightly more desirable hotel/casinos, good value all round.

I have been coming to Las Vegas for 30 years so I have had my share of Buffets,after Playing Poker I stumbled upon Monte Carlos buffet and hands down this was the best tasting,best priced buffet I have ever had, so good in fact I took my two associates there the next day and they both agreed this is one awesome buffet.

I don't know why I waited so long to post a review here, but I felt it was neccessary to comment on this surprisingly good buffet. I woke up famished one morning and decided to check it out. It exceeded my expectations. The omelet station is the best. You pick your ingredients, put them in a bowl, and the friendly omelet maker makes it right there. The trays were constantly being restocked and everything was very fresh, including the fruit. The dining room reminds me more of a cozy coffee shop than a herd 'em in and out buffet and the service was excellent... my coffee cup and juice glass were never empty... despite the busyness of the place.

The only reason we ate here was the fact that we had a comp. Big mistake. I remember going to a "$2 trough" when I was a kid that (probably) was worse, but I could be wrong. This was so bad it's hard to know where to start. Many of the foods were mislabeled and the waiter was so surly we thought we were in New York. When I requested orange juice, the waiter sneered, "No juices." The rest of the food was obviously prepared for people on taste-free diets. About the only good things I can say about this place are that we didn't get ptomaine poisoning and that we didn't see any rats or cockroaches.

We stayed at the MC from 4/11 - 4/15/2004. While this buffet had been getting bad reviews our group of 4 found it fine for the money. It's a very basic buffet, no major wow's but the bacon was crisp and they had an omellet station. While we walked and tried others, if you don't have time this buffet will do.

I thought the breakfast was the best I ever had. I'm not a huge french toast eater but this was the best I have ever had in my life. I cannot tell you enough to GET THE FRENCH TOAST! There was a good selection of eggs, breakfast meats including corned beef hash. The sausage gravy was good and there were too many pastries to choose from. I had a very good experience here. My husband liked it too but when he went to the omlette bar to have his "custom" made, the chef wasn't very friendly. Still, I would eat breakfast here again.

I don't know which Monte Carlo Buffett the people ate at that gave it a bad review. The buffett at the Monte Carlo is not only reasonably priced but the food was as well prepared as was the selection vast. Our last day we also went to the morning breakfast buffett. Once again we were impressed. The MC has taken every effort to make people feel comfortable as well as wanted. Their food and service were both impeccable. We will go back again.

I came here expecting breakfast, but it was Sunday, so my party got brunch. I felt the buffet was well stocked, attractive and easily accessable. The gentleman who made my omelete was very friendly and produced a good omelete. There was even sushi on the buffet - for brunch?? Well - each to his/her own. The eggs were good, and the eggs benedict was even better once I put some lox on them. We had to ask for more coffee and other things, but this is nothing unexpected at a buffet. Left very satisfied & will return.
