Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 06/08 I thought this was great fun. I've been a few times and some of the waxworks change from year to year. Very interactive. Dress up in a wedding dress (be you male or female! he he) and marry George clooney. Get the bunny ears on and pose in the bed with Hugh Hefner. Touch J-Lo's behind and watch her cheeks glow. The horror cinema had me scared out of my wits - no thanks to a staff member who kept going into the dark areas and touching my head! Great fun and highly recommended for a couple of hours of laughter. As someone else suggested, get the $4 off coupon from the various magazines.

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 11/07 - Good It was my first time and I enjoyed it. I mean you can't expect much because after all they are wax. I liked when you got to where the host from american idol were you could actually perform while they "watched." It is a bit expensive so make sure you grab the coupon out of the monorail book. I did the horror tour and that was kind of scary but I can see how people would be terrified. There is also a video showing how the Beyonce was statue was created...it's cool because it shows you the process step by step.

Like others have said, its kind of hit or miss with the quality but still fun. The haunted high school area was great and the guy that gets "possessed" at the very beginning was great. Be sure to get a coupon (2 for 1 or $4 off) because it certainly is not worth the full admission price.

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 12/06 - Bad This was my second time to Madame Tussaud's, the first time was about 5 years ago. This attraction has gone WAY downhill since my first visit. The price has about doubled, I think it was $25/person. Many of the original exhibits are gone and that left big spots that are empty. I recommend saving your money and go see a cheap show.

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas Month Visited: 06/05 The tour is very short and there's not many celebrites, but I agree it is a lot of fun. I saw a lot of people being intimidated to take pictures next to the wax figures because they were almost life-like! Most of the figures were posed so that it is very difficult to snap a picture and make it look real. For example, Britney Spears is hanging upside down! What am I suppose to do with that?! Haha. But overall we enjoyed ourselves very much.

It's way too expensive, half the figures don't look like who they are supposed to be and they stop you and line you up to force taking pictures before you can go on at one point. The only good point for me is that it didn't last too long.

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 09/04 - Good While I think the admission is pricy, we did received discount coupons in the hotel. This was enjoyable for our whole family. The kids (7 & 12) were posing with all the stars they knew. While some of the figures don't really look like the celebrity, others look remarkably life-like! My favorite was Brad Pitt...my daughter said we actually looked like a couple (in my dreams!).

The price was $14.95 pp when we went, and we had two coupons we could have used... one was $4 off each admission (we used it, so paid $11 pp), or 2 for 1 after 5 PM. Either way, look in the magazines and get coupons before you go, and it will be that much better. We took a lot of pictures and had a great time!

I'd say about 1/2 were realistic, the detail in Shaq was incredable, but Arnold S. was hardly recognizable. Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 09/03 - Undecided We only went to this because we had a 2 for 1 coupon. Paying full price was out of the question. It's ok but not all that great. There isn't much consistency in the statue quality. Some are so life like you almost say "excuse me" when trying to walk by them. Others are so fake looking it's creepy. There are so many people taking pictures with the statues that it's almost impossible to get one of a single statue. Then there is a spot where in order to go on you have to pose for a picture with the Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt statues. I'm sure it is pricy to purchase your pic on the way out but we didn't bother to find out. (whoever started the pic-before-you-pass trend in LV should be slapped!)Over all I thought it was boring. I'm sure with kids it's fun or if you get a major discount on admission like we did it's ok but don't pay full price for this. It's not worth it at all.

Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas        Month Visited: 08/03 - Good Madame Tussauds is an awesome attraction, located in the walkways leading up to the Venitian Hotel & Casino. Prices may vary sometimes so be wary of what is listed in the coupon guides as they are sometimes not updated. You can also get discount coupons from the hosts located outside of the attraction. The wax portraits are great and fully detailed, sometimes taking over 200 measurements, as well as costing up to $70,000 dollars each to make! It's a surprise that Madame Tussauds lets you touch and take pictures with a little over a hundred wax portraits. Please make sure to bring a camera or camcorder. For two of us with coupon in hand and purchasing two cameras at ticket counter, we paid over $70 bucks! OUCH! Don't make that mistake. Otherwise, lots of great figures and photo opps were great with figures. We went through in about an hour stopping for pictures. Patrick Stewart was eery it was so lifelike. Would recommend overall.

Not that its a bad attraction, but many of the wax celebrities are from past generations which don't necessarily appeal to the younger crowd. Although most of the wax people were amazingly life-like, the Brad Pitt didn't look like him and I don't think Sarah Michelle Gellar is worthy of a wax sculpture. With the coupon its not a bad deal but I preferred many of Vegas' other attractions.
